Lake Solutions is excited to announce that, having worked with Umbraco for a number of years now, it has been named as an Umbraco Silver Partner. Umbraco is an open source .NET Content Management System (CMS), which is built on Microsoft’s .NET framework, using ASP.NET and written in C#. Umbraco offers developers high flexibility, security and scalability.
Known as ‘the friendly CMS’, Umbraco gives users and content editors an easy-to-use interface and an intuitive editing experience.
In its open-source form, Umbraco was created in 2005 by Niels Hartvig and, today, the firm has its headquarters in Odense, Denmark, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. Currently there are more than 730,000 websites running on Umbraco around the world.
